Welcome! My name is Caroline Duran. I am a formally trained ceramic sculptor, a K-12 certified art educator with nearly a decade of experience, a self-taught watercolor artist, and a Zazzle Pro designer. At the University of Florida, my BFA concentration was centered around conceptual figurative sculpture. I studied under artists such as Nan Smith, Rob Kolhouse, Linda Arbuckle, and Marty Fielding. I have taught a variety of subjects to all secondary grade levels including ceramics, drawing, painting, and figure sculpture at IB magnet and independent college-preparatory schools. I believe the key to learning is to keep an open mind, continually strive for growth, and always maintain a helpful heart.
